Love the Sketches that Julee Tilman creates!! I really need to get some of her Verve Stamps!! They are so gorgeous!! This card just doesn't look right to me, maybe I should redo the picture at a different angle. Hmm, well I like it in person, sorry you can't see it for real. Anyhoo, I used My Minds Eye Lost & Found Blush patterned papers, kraft cardstock, Close To My Heart sentiment, Inkadinkadoo stamp, Cricut Flower Shoppe and Elegant Edges Cartridge cuts, Studio G ink, Stampin Up ink, rhinestones and teeny tiny faux pearls.

Happy Birthday Cards

Hello, I did mention in my last post that I have Birthday cards galore, well see what I mean now! Here is two more and I still have another three to post as well. So, here as you can see is more Basic Grey patterned paper, this one is Shine On a super cute and fun paper!

I know this one was designed from a card sketch but I cant remember which one??? Sorry!!!
Aren't the cupcakes cute with their colorful colors! The sentiment is a Close To My Heart stamp, which seems to be my favorite at the moment. The cupcake is a stamp from Hampton Art, I double stamped it, first on cream colored cardstock and then on white cardstock. I wanted a soft color for the background of the cupcake. Colored the white cardstock stamped image with Tombow Markers, cut it out and glued it on to the cream colored cardstock and inked the edges. All the inked edges are inked up from Inkadinkadoo chalk ink pads. And then I added the little red rhinestone for bling!
This guy was supposed to be entered in a Freshly Made Sketch Challenge but did not make it on time hhmph. The sentiment is from You're So Sweet stamp set by Adam Pescott. I added some bling from Basic Grey rhinestones. So there you have it! Two more easy and simple cards!

These two cards will be sold together in my Etsy Shop!

Simple and Sweet Birthday Cards

Hi, it's Birthday cards galore here on my craft desk! Two simple and sweet cards made with the lovely and super cute Basic Grey Serendipity patterned papers. This first one is a easy card design, using scraps placed apart makes a neat look, cut a rectangle out corner punched it and put a hole punch for the thread placed it on 3D foam square, stamped it with a Close To My Heart stamps, cut the flower shapes and leaves from Cricuts Flower Shoppe Cartridge.
This next one is made with the same patterned paper and just added a printed out digi stamp from Beccy Muir at Beccysplace.blogspot.com. Colored the flower with Tombow markers and inked up the edges and all over it with a light pink chalk ink pad from Studio G, you know those ones that Micheals has for 1.00. I love using those for inking edges. I think covering the whole label with a soft pink helps blend in with the patterned papers and not stand out if it was white. Oh and I punched the bottom yellow paper too!

Stamping, Tagging and Cricuting

Hello, I have four little cards to share today. I made these a few months ago, playing with some new stamps, a tag booklet and Cricut Flower Shoppe Cartridge. This first one has a tag that I punched a border on the top of it, used some packaging and cut out the nice soft green floral background, the little red labels sentiments and made a flower from the Cricut cartidge. Making these flowers is great way to use up old patterned papers.
This one has a large background stamp from Ditto/Hampton Arts, Cricut Flower Shoppe flowers, a printed tag. Easy peasy!
Here is another one with a tag that has its top cut off, stamped the Unity Stamp sentiment on the middle of the tag, punched border made from more nice packaging and punched flowers. Not sure  you can see that the edges of the card are stamped lightly with a border stamp. Also, easy peasy!!
Hmm, this just might be my favorite, I love little birdies and bees! This tag I left it alone, didn't cut it or punch it, just wrapped the organza ribbon around and tied it right in the middle of the tag hole. Stamped the edges lightly with a border stamp. Used some scrap Close To My Heart textured cardstock to make the border on top using the Spellbinders Fleur De Li's Rectangle. I love the colors too!! ;)
These two will be sold together in my Etsy Shop!
